Chair's Message
I look forward to meeting and welcoming as many of our members as possible at our annual Congress in April 2012. This will be our third year at Warwick University, a venue which your feedback tells us has been well received by delegates who attended in previous years. As always we hope for good weather. You can look forward to a full and varied programme, giving you the opportunity to work with well respected tutors from a variety of yoga schools and backgrounds, some of which you may not have experienced in the past. We hope this supplement will help you to decide which sessions you would like to attend. You can book your place online or via the post.
Some classes will have a large demand so we do advise early booking to ensure you get as many ofyour preferred choices as possible.
Our plenary speaker this year is Mark Singleton. A recent review in Spectrum of his book Yoga Body, The Origins of Modern Posture Practice generated a great deal of comment and debate from amongst our members and in the wider yoga community. We are looking forward to continuing those discussions at Congress. The AGM is also held during Congress, giving you the opportunity to meet the National Executive Committee and contribute to our future development. We look forward to updating you on the progress of many important areas relating to the work of The Wheel in these exciting times.
Yours in Yoga
