3. Identify the qualities needed by a student of yoga in order to develop increased strength, stamina and flexibility. (cognitive)
4. Explore ways of presenting difficult themes from The Gita to modern students of yoga. (psychomotor and cognitive)

TEACHING MATERIAL USED ON THE COURSE
1. A 10-page booklet written by Di Kendall giving background to the development of Bhakti Yoga and the historical setting of The Bhagavad Gita.
2. An audio-CD with the voice of Di Kendall discussing the booklet and preparing for the course assignments. The CD may be returned at the end of the course or purchased.
3. Two worksheets with explanatory notes, one related to personal understanding and the other related to teaching issues.
4. Tutor comments with feedback on course work and suggestions for further study.

ABOUT THE TUTOR: DIANA (DI) KENDALL
OUTLINE PLAN FOR THE RUNNING OF THE COURSE
- You will Register and pay on line. Print out these two pages to keep track.
- Your Tutor will be informed through the web site that you have been registered and will receive confirmation of all your contact details which you have filled in on line at 1. above.
- Your Tutor will send you a welcome letter with all their own contact details (by email) confirming to you within a few days, unless away on holiday.
- At the same time, they will give you a date for when you can expect to receive your material. This may be within 2 weeks or six months depending upon the course start date you have chosen
- Confirm to your Tutor, when you receive your course material, and also contact by email or phone should you have any queries. Note the allocated Course number.
- Begin your course.
- You will have all the dates for completion in the letter you have had at 4. Above.
- Follow the dates carefully and let your Tutor know, should there be any holdup due to health, life event etc.
- When you have returned your completed worksheets to your Tutor and your Tutor has responded with her feedback comments go on to 11 below.
- Finally, to complete the course, you will go back on line into your membership number and your original password chosen when at 1. above. Bring up the course evaluation page and fill in on line.
- When you enter the completed Evaluation, you will only then be registered as Completed to gain the 7.5 CPD points and receive your Certificate.
So - please make sure that you send the Evaluation, otherwise your CPD points may not be recorded. - There will be an additional button on your course tabs which you can enter to pass any other comments about the course and also suggestions for future topics
