OUTLINE PLAN FOR THE RUNNING OF THE COURSE
- You will Register and pay on line. Your Tutor will give you information about the initial use of the site, that is, how to register yourself in order to get onto the Members page. The details of the payment method will be seen on the web site.
- Your Tutor will be informed through the web site that you have been registered and paid to do the course. They will receive confirmation of all your contact details which you have filled in on line when you registered.
- Your Tutor will send you a welcome letter with all their own contact details (by email) confirming to you within a few days, unless away on holiday.
- At the same time, they will give you a date for when you can expect to receive your material. This may be within 2 weeks or six months depending upon the course start date you have chosen
- Confirm to your Tutor, when you receive your email as at 4. above, and also confirm when any course material arrives. You may contact by email or phone should you have any queries.
- There will be 2 CD’s. CD 1 will be the audio practice / information CD. CD2 will have the course material files on. You will down load CD 2 onto your PC and print off to give you a clearer overall view. Do not try and work on the material first solely on the PC. When you have the overall picture, and have listened to your CD, then you will work on the screen for the material which is to be returned to your Tutor.
- Begin your course.
- You will have all the dates for completion in the letter you have had at 4. above.
- Follow the dates carefully and let your Tutor know, should there be any hold up due to health, life event etc.
- When you have returned all your material to your Tutor and your Tutor has returned the material back to you, with their comments, then confirm that you have received it.
- Finally, to complete the course, you will go back on line into your membership number and your original password chosen when at 1. above. Bring up the course Evaluation page (by finding ‘my booked places’ on the left hand vertical column), this will display your own details and you will directed to fill in the Evaluation page and then print your certificate.
- When you enter the completed Evaluation, you will only then be registered as completed and gain the 7.5 CPD points and receive your Certificate. So, please make sure that you send the Evaluation, otherwise your Office record will not be ‘official’
- There will be an additional button on your course tabs which you can enter to pass any other comments about the course and also suggestions for future topics.
- The site will also direct you to where to enter your CPD points.
I hope you will find the study useful and satisfying and I look forward to working with you.
Wendy.
