Course Title – BWYQ Level 4 Certificate in Teaching Yoga (RQF)

The aim of the Certificate Course is to educate and enable learners, both professionally and practically, to teach yoga asanas, breathing practices and relaxation to clients that have a wide variety of capacities, capabilities and experiences. The course will equip students with an underlying knowledge and understanding of yoga principles and philosophy but students are also expected to continue to deepen their understanding and knowledge through personal practice and reflection.

The BWYQ Level 4 Certificate in Yoga Teaching (RQF) can be studied as a progression route on to the Level 4 Diploma in Yoga Teaching (RQF); which is comprised of the first 5 units of the certificate and then 3 further units to achieve the Diploma.
      
Tarik Dervish and Cathy Mae, both qualified and experienced Ayurvedic practitioners and DCT’s have teamed up to offer you an amazing opportunity to train as a Yoga teacher in 2021. This course will offer you a robust training in the most up to date teaching methods including online delivery, so you have all the tools you need to be a safe, professional and effective Yoga teacher. 

Our programme is OFQUAL regulated at Level 4 and includes all the key skills you need to become a competent yoga teacher including:

•Course and Lesson planning skills
•Detailed asana analysis, applied anatomy and kinesiology
•Legal and professional aspects of yoga teaching
•Teaching online
•Marketing 
•Live teaching of asana, breathing and relaxation
•Vulnerable areas, modifications and adjustments used in teaching
•Yoga and Ayurveda philosophy
•The science of stress and the importance of relaxation

You will qualify with a BWYQ Certificate in Yoga Teaching (RQF) Level 4, which will enable you to set up and run courses and general classes that offers Asana, Breathing and Relaxation. 

Course days will be a mixture of online teaching, live training days and a three day retreat.

Location: Central London
Duration: 24 days
Cost:  £3600 for 24 days training (includes a 3 day retreat)
Days: Saturdays and Sundays from April 2021 10.00-5.00pm

About TARIK DERVISH

Tarik is a qualified and experienced Yoga Teacher/Trainer for the British Wheel of Yoga and Ayurvedic practitioner. He runs workshops and courses in Yoga and Ayurveda for Yoga practitioners and teachers. He specialises in training Yoga teachers with an Ayurvedic approach. He also has a small Ayurveda clinic in Kings Cross and central Brighton. He's been teaching Yoga since 1997 and has had a wide variety of training including Iyengar, Satyananda and Scaravelli traditions. His main approach is to help students establish a sound physical practice that is appropriate for their Ayurvedic Constitution as a foundation for deeper, subtle meditative work.
