In a world of pandemics, our minds more often than not veer towards meaning, purpose and how to live in a fast-changing world. Midst uncertainty, the BWYQ Progression Course does what it says on the tin: it takes BWYQ Teacher Training Certificate holders through philosophy, meditation, pranayama and subtle teachings of yoga for you to earn a Diploma.
This course does more than enhance your professional qualification though. It fosters your personal development, offering a richer, fuller, elevated appreciation of the essence of yoga. You cultivate your pranayama, mindfulness and meditation muscles while being exposed to the rich traditions of yoga philosophy. But it does all of this in the real context of current global times.
On this course we take a practical approach, asking what these rich teachings mean in today’s world and how they help us build inclusive societies. We apply the teachings to our lives and our work. Integrating a full8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Programme as part of our learning, we cultivate our ability to live with greater awareness, transform patterns that no longer serve us and cultivate ones that do. In this way, we learn how to integrate mindfulness into our teaching.
