About Philippa Wade

I teach yoga in Chester and the surrounding area. I have been practising yoga for 20+ years and teaching professionally since 2011. My teaching encompasses a mix of hatha and iyengar influenced practice and encourages students to develop strength, flexibility and stamina. I place an emphasis on physical alignment to provide a safe and stable foundation from which to work, with an awareness of the breath to stay present and use of the breath to deepen practice. My teaching experience is varied and extensive, from beginners to experienced yogis, corporate classes, 121 sessions, yoga retreats, the Foundation Course and Teacher Training Diploma. I specialise in teaching yoga and meditation in both male and female prisons. I am motivated to inspire my students to practice yoga regardless of age, ability and physical condition, promoting the benefits of yoga, and making it accessible to everyone.
