Course Title - BWYQ L4 Certificate in Teaching Yoga (RQF)

The aim of the Certificate Course is to educate and enable learners, both professionally and practically, to teach yoga asanas, breathing practices and relaxation to clients that have a wide variety of capacities, capabilities and experiences. The course will equip students with an underlying knowledge and understanding of yoga principles and philosophy but students are also expected to continue to deepen their understanding and knowledge through personal practice and reflection.

The BWYQ Level 4 Certificate in Yoga Teaching (RQF) can be studied as a progression route on to the Level 4 Diploma in Yoga Teaching (RQF).

The course content is spread over 16 months with a mixture of in person sessions held on a Sunday and live sessions via Zoom on a Saturday, giving some flexibility in terms of travel and studying from home.

About Kari Knight

Kari Knight trained with the BWY under Viniyoga teacher Margaret Woodley, completing a 500-hour diploma in 2004. Kari has taken further teacher training and holds Levels I and II Yin/Yang and Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training (Insight Yoga). As well as specialising in teaching Yin yoga and mindfulness in community classes currently online, Kari specialises in teaching yoga for cancer, restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra. Kari runs the British Wheel of Yoga Teacher Training Module: "Working Therapeutically with Cancer", BWYT Foundation Courses 1 and 2, and recently qualified as a Diploma Course Tutor.
