Information about the course:
If you’ve been practicing yoga for a while (a couple of years) and would like to get a deeper perspective, or continue on to teacher training, this may be the course for you. The course includes, (among lots of other things):
Deeper practice of some key asana with the chance to discover Sanskrit names, benefits, modifications and how to intelligently prepare the body; find a greater understanding of breathing techniques and aspects of pranayama; explore techniques of relaxation and meditation and, hopefully, a fun and friendly introduction to some of the principal yoga texts, yoga philosophy and history. There’s also a great opportunity to journal and develop a home yoga practise (all other homework’s entirely optional) I’ll endeavour to make all aspects of the syllabus as relevant, fun and accessible as possible. Tuition Fees are £500 plus £60 BWY registration fee and £37 BWY membership. Free 2 hour intro session on Sunday 14th July at 10 am.
