Summer Yoga in Cambs Session 7

19th August 2019
at Queen Emma Primary School

Summer Yoga in Cambs Session 7

Tutor: Michelle Helstrip

Date: 19th August 2019

Time: 19:30 - 21:30

Location: Queen Emma Primary School

Type of Event: Summer Yoga in Cambs

Places Available: 10

Michelle is a yoga teacher, therapist & writer who has trained with BWY and Dru Yoga in Britain & Australia, together with Qi Yoga & Natural Therapies Australia.  Training with leading teachers from different traditions has given her a unique perspective on yoga, which she shares through specialist workshops, tailored yoga courses, kirtan, and the traditional one to one method of yoga teaching.

Michelle is dedicated to bringing the message of yoga to those who may not see themselves as fitting the media image of yoga people. Many of her sessions include sequences to aid the safe release of trapped, negative energy which builds up during our hectic lives.

She says: "Dru Yoga consists of gentle, flowing sequences of movements, often performed slowly, to encourage maximum awareness of the body, and in particular the spine.”
PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE ONLY 20 SPACES FOR THIS SESSION.  This is so that the tutor can give individual attention to each student.
The Summer programme aims to help you keep up your practice through the summer with the chance to work with a different teacher each week.  As in the past, it is open to members and non-members of the British Wheel of Yoga.

The 2-hour long sessions are suitable for students with at least one year’s practice or class attendance.  You can sign up for any or all of the nine sessions.  Please bring your usual yoga equipment.
