Tutor: Colin Fordham
Date: 13th March 2021
Time: 10:00 - 16:00
The day covers Emergency First Aid, including resuscitation, care of the unconscious and control of bleeding, but as the tutor, Colin Fordham, is also a qualified BWY tutor we get a more relevant yoga experience. Colin has been teaching First Aid for many years and has a wealth of experience and knowledge that makes this compulsory day as enjoyable as possible.
Ardleigh house has parking available and is near Gidea park station and bus routes.
Hot drinks and biscuits will be available throughout the day. Please bring your own lunch to eat in there.
On the day
Please arrive at 9:45am for a 10:00am start
It is advisable that students wear comfortable clothes, which are practical for various role-play situations (e.g. safety footwear, track-suits, jeans etc. – not skirts). Please do not wear lipstick as this marks the models when practicing
Students should bring spectacles if they require them and also bring a pen and note pad. For those with long hair, a hair-band will help when practicing techniques. All students should be in full health on the days of the course as there may be some practical work involved. Students will be issued with a manual during the course, which has space for small amounts of note taking.
