Samantha says: "I strongly believe that when we practice yoga we are practicing self-compassion. Beginning our practice by sending loving kindness to ourselves softens our expectations on the mat and in this softening, we can begin to accept ourselves as we truly are. From this acceptance, we can step into true transformation’’.
In this workshop, we will work with pranayama (breathing techniques) to let go of stress, build focus, strength & stamina with mindful vinyasa flow (yang yoga) and sink into compassion, insight, and meditative bliss with yin yoga.
We will encourage positive energy flow along the main energy meridians, working closely with the seven major chakras to deepen our understanding of their nature whilst loosening restrictions and finding space in our bodies and minds.
We will complete the workshop practicing a Metta meditation, reaching into our heart space, seeking to glimpse our collective Buddha nature, and sending loving kindness & compassion to the world.
There will be a 30-minute break for lunch, but lunch will NOT be provided, so participants will need to make their own arrangements, please.
