Chair Yoga for Less Able Individuals
Tutor: Richard Kravetz
Date: 4th July 2020
Time: 10:00 - 16:00
Richard has been a Special Needs Yoga teacher since 2002 and has run teacher training courses for practitioners working with people who have specific needs and requirements.
This training day will help teachers gain an understanding of how to approach yoga for less able individuals. It will provide tools and techniques for making yoga's therapeutic benefits accessible to adults with a variety of special needs, or for whom participation in a general yoga class is difficult.
The content will include guidance on using chair yoga to assist the elderly towards maintaining a degree of exercise and movement to help slow deterioration in older age.
Hot drinks will be provided. Please bring your own packed lunch.
