Tutor: Paul Fox
Date: 18th November 2017
Time: 10:00 - 16:00
Having the confidence to move
around your class and give physical adjustments to your students can deepen
their understanding of the posture and help them on their journey in yoga.
Adding sensitive physical adjustment to verbal instructions and demonstrations
will enrich your learning environment and give your students additional reasons
to come to class. On this day we will examine and deconstruct six asanas and
explore the ways to adjust a range of body types appropriately. You will learn
a lot about bio-mechanics and asana and also develop your skills at "reading”
the body by doing postural analysis.
Paul Fox is a DCT and
continuing student of yoga. He teaches the foundations of Ashtanga Yoga and
Core Strength Yoga. Paul has studied the art of adjusting students with John
& Lucy Scott. He now works with their principles of sensitive and
intelligent physical adjustment of students (when appropriate). He has studied
Anatomy and Physiology with the American instructor, David Keil, and under the
guidance of Ruth Gilmore.
