Wendy offers an opportunity in this study day to enhance awareness of the chakras and their relevance to our physical, mental and metaphysical well-being. She will explore a range of Mudras and Bandhas through Asana in relation to the Chakras, Hasta Mudra and Pranayama.
Some back-ground reading on the chakras before coming to the day may be an advantage, but is not vital, as the subject is covered on the diploma and some knowledge is presumed. The day is aimed at all who practise asana and are open to integrating awareness of the pranic body into their practice. It would be an interesting day for students still on the diploma as well as for those who are diploma-holders.
We will use a combination of creative expression, group and pair work, discussion and a fun game exploring the journey of Kundalini as it traverses the chakra system.
