Time: 14:30 - 18:00
How to incorporate the four foundations of mindfulness into yoga asana practice.
The London region AGM will be taking place a few weeks prior to Congress and we would love to have your input, so we’ve invited a very special guest, Emma Slade, to deliver a memorable afternoon of practice and sharing.
Emma will explore the Buddhist origins of mindfulness teachings and how they may profoundly shift our approach to asana practice.
Emma is a BWY teacher of 20 years experience. She has also been a Buddhist nun for 7 yrs training under the guidance of her teacher in the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan. She is the author of the inspirational autobiography Set Free and the founder of the charity Opening Your Heart to Bhutan. She is well known for bringing both insight and humour to the path of human and spiritual development.
Attendees are requested to stay for the meeting. Your payment for the afternoon will be donated to her charity.
