Aims of the Course:

The Module is a structured guide for students and teachers covering foundation practices of pranayama and mantra along with more advanced pranayam techniques.

Developed to deepen personal understanding of the affects and application of Pranayama's and Mantra, for personal development and teaching in mainstream class/workshops and retreats.

To give individuals confidence to progress in their own developement after the course concludes.

Pranayama and Mantra are deeply energetic practices positively transforming our suffering and evolutionary understanding and finding our place in the world/universe.

This course takes you through the foundations of both pranayama and mantra, and deeper more advanced pranayama practices from Indian and Tibetan lineages, helping you develop a deeper understanding of the subtle energetic effects of these aspects of yoga.  The course enables you to trust your inner guide and reflect on practices that are appropriate to you now and for the future, either as a practitioner or a teacher.

If studying as a teacher, it will allow you to know what and how to teach in a mainstream class, how to develop practices for workshops and for retreats, in a safe and supportive way for your own students.
It will also give you a continual guide to developing your practices into the future. The course will develop your somatic experience of your body and allow the boundaries between the conscious and unconscious mind to soften, which in turn allows you to understand the larger nature of our existence.

Sarah mentors and supports you through the year and beyond is necessary to encourage your personal, spiritual and energetic growth.

Testimonial from student:
... a fantastic teacher truly embodying the spirit, wisdom and skill required to teach these practices. The depth and breadth of her knowledge and experience has had a huge impact on my understanding of the power and importance of pranayama and mantra as part of my yoga journey and spiritual life. As a teacher, Sarah has been wonderfully supportive and patient, understanding that life is busy and encouraging us to be curious and compassionate towards ourselves. The manual is now my own sacred text! You can tell and intuitively understand as you move through the practices, that each of them have been chosen very carefully and ordered in such a way so that your understanding blossoms, layer by layer, month by month and day by day, moving deeper into stillness and spaciousness. This truly is a course for healing and for learning to listen and understand ourselves better...
