Information about the course:
If you love yoga and yearn to learn more, the course offers the perfect opportunity. It is aimed at expanding your personal yoga experience and providing the opportunity for you to dig deeper than at weekly classes. You will also meet like-minded people and become part of a bigger yoga community. The approach is practical and experimental for asanas, breathwork, relaxation, meditation, chanting and deepening of awareness. There will be informative talks, discussions, home research and a yoga journal. We will explore the background of yoga, Patanjali’s psychological approach and its relevance to our daily life, paths of yoga, prana, nadis, chakras. You will gain knowledge, insight, confidence and ability to plan your own practice. Jayadhara (Jane Cluley) has been teaching yoga since 1988, she is a BWY Diploma Tutor, holds an MA in yoga philosophy and has tutored more than a dozen BWY Foundation 1 Courses. She is passionate about including all aspects of yoga and ancient wisdom in ways accessible to everyone. Her personal practice is informed by Satyananda Yoga, Structural and Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy, Restorative Yoga and Mindfulness.
