Tutor: Kari Knight
Date: 22nd January 2023
Time: 09:00 - 17:00
The Foundation Course 2 is a creative balance between practical and theoretical and is primarily seen as a personal development course although popular with teachers wishing to renew or further their knowledge. Either way, it is a course which will further and deepen the appreciation of the practices of pranayama and meditation as well as all other aspects of yoga. One of the many rewards of this course will be to establish a regular meditation practice as well as enjoy the tremendous benefits of a variety of pranayama techniques which are less commonly taught in community classes.
You will be well
supported from the tutor throughout the Foundation Course 2 in order to establish
a regular pranayama and meditation practice. The Zoom sessions held on Sundays
will be followed up during the weeks in between and there will be feedback
sheets on which you will receive plenty of tutor feedback. This support is essential in order to sustain an ongoing meditation and pranayama practice self-guided at home.
Applicants may have completed the FC1 with the BWY or hold Recorded Prior Learning from another organisation. Each application is considered individually based on prior learning. Places are limited and a small group forms strong bonds.
