BWY Foundation Course Level 2 with Wendy Teasdill
Glastonbury, 2017 – 2018

This experiential and creative course is 60 hours long (9.30/10 a.m – 5/5.30 p.m.) from December 10th 2017 to July 22nd 2018.  Applicants are required to have completed BWY Foundation 1 or equivalent. This course is designed for students of Yoga wishing to progress and deepen their Yoga practice, whether or not they wish to go on to do teacher training. It is not a specific teacher training course, but the added value it gives to your practice lends depth and credibility to your teaching if and when you do move on to teacher training. You are supported in your practice, using the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali as guidance.

You are expected to attend regular yoga classes and keep up a regular personal practice. Functional philosophy from the core texts of the Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita enhances the subtler aspects. You are expected to keep a Pranayama diary for at least 3 months of the course – which will, if you go on to do teacher training, count towards your eventual qualification in the future. A certificate is awarded upon completion.
