Are you ready to deepen your yoga?
This 60-hour course gives the background and depth to yoga we can only hint at in our usual weekly classes. The course gives time to learn and further experience: asana, pranayama, meditation and relaxation. Alongside talks and discussions, we explore the philosophy, history and paths of yoga. Woven with the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, each session is themed whether Ahimsa non-violence or Santosha contentment.
This structured course gives time to enjoy, experiment and create your own self-practice, with set assignments between the days.
The Foundation Course also gives you the chance to consider if you would like to go on to train to be a teacher through BWY teacher training courses and modules.
Ten monthly Saturdays in 2018: 20 January, 3 February, 3 March, 24 March, 21 April, 19 May (Old H), 9 June, 7 July, 18 August and 8 September 2018
Venue: The Old School Hall, High Street, Cumnor Village, OX2 9PE
