Information about the course

By taking this 60 hours course you can expect to broaden your knowledge and experience of yoga in general, either for your personal interest and study or with a view to taking a teaching qualification. The minimum entry requirement for this course is two years’ experience of practising yoga in any style with a suitably qualified and experienced yoga teacher. The course will be held on Saturdays at the Yoga Junction studio in Crouch End, North London.

The course is roughly 50% practical (asana, pranayama, meditation, chanting, mudra, kriya) and 50% theoretical (philosophy, history, anatomy, theory of energetic body, etc.). There is no compulsory homework, although further study for your own interest is advised and supported, and there is no test or exam! The aim is to broaden your own practice and to consider in which areas you may like to develop it in the future.
