We would like to invite you to DCT Weekend 2018.
The DCT Weekend Programme now available Please Click Here
Getting to the Venue:
The postcode for the venue is LE2 2LH. A lanyard containing the programme and a map of the campus will
be provided for you upon registration.
Please be aware that during the summer the turnings can be a
little tricky to spot if the foliage is overgrown so, if you are driving
to the venue, the entrance to John Foster is the 5th small turning on
the left of Manor Rd. There is free parking on campus, if you are
required to display a permit you will be advised upon arrival and these
can be picked up from reception.
Public Transport: If you are using public transport and are
travelling by train, there is a bus stop to the university located close
to the railway station. If you would like to consider sharing a taxi
(it is about a 10 minute/£7 ride) please contact BWYT admin who will put
delegates wishing to take this option in touch with one another. If
taking a cab please be sure to ask them to take you to either Stamford
Court or John Foster Reception, rather than Leicester University - as
there are many different campuses.
Accommodation, breakfast, evening meals and bar facilities will be
at John Foster and the programme/ meeting rooms and refreshments
throughout the day are across the road in Stamford Court.
What to do & where to go when you arrive:
Registration desk: will be in the entrance to Stamford Court (side entrance to the right of the building)
Accommodation check-in: is at the reception desk in John Foster Halls. Leicester University
will make every effort to ensure rooms are ready for you but this is not
always possible before 2pm.
Catering is vegetarian. If you have any additional dietary requirements
such as dairy-free, Gluten free, or vegan please inform us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
During your stay: There is a health and fitness gym and swimming pool on campus, if you
wish to use these facilities you will need to obtain a day voucher from
John Foster Reception.
The Botanic Gardens located close by in Glebe Road will also be open during the weekend.
We look forward to welcoming you at the event.
