Membership Payment Holiday
We are continuing our three month membership payment holiday for those who need it.
This was initially offered on the basis that teachers may have lost their income due to classes closing at short notice due to lockdown and not being able to immediately set up on line classes.
We recognise that teachers are now able to move back to teaching face to face however it may be that you have been unable to teach on line or that face to face teaching will bring its own challenges in terms of space and facilities being available so we are looking to continue the deferred payment option to help support our members who may have been financially impacted.
What does this mean?
You can pay your annual subscription up to 3 months later to help you with your cash flow due to changes with Covid 19 whilst still retaining the benefits of insurance cover and receiving Yoga Now, Regional Newsletters and Spectrum.
i.e. if your membership is due on the 1stOctober 2020 you can elect to pay for the year 3 months later so payment would be taken on 1st January 2021. Your membership would then expire on the 30th September 2021 as you are paying 3 months in arrears and then the remaining 9 months in advance.
Who can apply?
To enable us to provide cover for you during the 3 month payment holiday we need to know that subscription will be paid after the 3 months holiday period so it will only be open to those paying by direct debit. If you currently pay by standing order or via the website, you will need to complete a direct debit mandate which can be downloaded at https://www.bwy.org.uk/join-the-bwy/
Please forward the completed DD mandate to the office (The British Wheel of Yoga, Administration Centre 25 Jermyn Street, Sleaford, Lincolnshire. NG34 7RU)together with a covering letter/note confirming you wish to apply for the 3 month holiday payment to ensure that payment is not taken immediately.
