us for a day of Yoga (with plenty breaks) on Zoom with Dave Charlton on
the theme of Support, Direction and Space. This workshop will draw on
years of studying and presenting ideas from the Yoga Sutra and from
the excellent book Dave recently co-wrote with Ranju Roy 'Embodying the
Yoga Sutra'. Drawing on the Sutras in a very practical sense, we will
discuss the nature of support and what are the conditions for taking
support. Dave says "From this support, a direction shows itself. From
the interaction between support and direction a space opens up.” We look
forward to exploring these themes and how they inform our practice of
asana, pranayama and meditation.
