This Emergency First Aid at Work one-day course is a must for all yoga teachers and students, so please do check your certificate is up to date! The training focuses on the type of emergencies that you may come across in the yoga classroom, including CPR & defibrillation.
Vanessa Carter is a qualified First Aid trainer and registered nurse who specialises in first aid for yoga. She and her husband Ian provide very thorough training using a selection of revive aids and plenty of role playing to help students experience as close to real life emergency situations.
The day begins promptly at 9.30am and continues to 4.30pm, so do come early to get comfortable and have a cuppa before we start. There is a large free car park with plenty of space for parking in the grounds of the church hall.
Please wear comfortable clothing as this day will include practical demonstrations and practice - you may wish to bring your own yoga mat.
Please bring your own packed lunch on the day and teas, coffees and biscuits will be provided.
Tuition Fee: £70.00
The cost includes all handouts, a First Aid booklet and the "The One Day Emergency First Aid at Work" qualification (EFAW) which is valid for 3 years and allows you to be a First Aider in ANY work place that employs 50 people or less.
