ONLINE Half Day Workshop
Whether you’re totally new to yoga, a seasoned practitioner who is new to Yin Yoga, or if you’re already familiar with Yin, there is something for everyone in this online workshop.
Our brain is not the only place capable of laying down the memories of our lives. There are many areas in our body that carry the echoes of our experiences, habits, and activities. Yin Yoga can help us to uncover what's written into our bodies, through the time-honoured process of attending, noticing, and making appropriate decisions.
Drawing from over a decade’s experience teaching Yin Yoga, David will take you on a journey of revelation. We will uncover some of the ways in which our body tells our stories, looking primarily at the connective tissue, known as 'fascia'. What we think, how we feel, where we go, and the things we do all leave their traces. These messages are waiting patiently in our inner webbing for us to re-discover them.
Our fascia is an often forgotten or ignored witness to how we lead our lives. In a 2-hour presentation and discussion we will unpack and then reconstruct its biology, before applying our findings with intimate sensitivity and compassion in a 1-hour Yin Yoga practice.
