Tutor: Andy Curtis-Payne
Date: 6th June 2020
Time: 10:00 - 16:30
Whether you are teacher of many years or new to the yoga teaching world, how do we inspire and keep our students on the yoga journey when they have such varied and distinct needs in the average yoga class? Which direction to take? Where do we start?
Happily, TKV Desikachar gave us some guidance in answering these questions: During the day we will explore these concepts theoretically and then put them into practice, using different practices for different directions, to experience for ourselves how they can work. Text references will be used where appropriate to underpin the teaching on the day and illustrate key points.
By the end of the day, we should all have a clearer understanding of these key principles, and how to apply them to plan and teach interesting and helpful practices for our students.
Join is as Andy takes us on a yoga journey from departing at 10.00 , he directs us to a destination
This workshop is now online running in 2 sessions 10-12.30 , part 2 -14-16.30. Both sessions will be recorded, giving you the option to watch a session within 48 hours after the 6th June if you prefer not to attend both sessions on the same day
Andy Curtis-Payne has been a yoga teacher for 25 years and is now Chair of The Society of Yoga Practitioners. He was appointed a teacher trainer in 2006 by TKV Desikachar and has also undertaken further specialist training in Yoga Therapy.
