Online CPD - Nada Yoga - An Exploration of Sound and Vibration in Yoga
Tutor: Rajesh David
Date: 13th June 2021
Time: 10:00 - 16:30
Type of Event: CPD
Places Available: 1
Nada Yoga techniques lead to an increasingly fine-tuning of our perception.
The resonance produced by our vocal sounds has the potential to not only energize our body and mind but also to heighten our awareness of the chakras.
Nada means sound. It also means vibration, thus incorporating everything from the most seemingly solid to the most intangible, therefore our exploration of Nada must go beyond the limitations of human hearing to encompass wider concepts of harmony, balance, and rhythm.
The course includes Harmony and Balance in postural work; Chakra sensitization; Yoga Nidra and reflecting on the Mantra OM.
Rajesh David trained at the Institute of Yoga Mumbai, India and is a composer/singer, with a background in Indian Classical Music.
He has taught IST/CPD days for the BWY for over 15 years and teaches workshops and seminars in the UK and Europe. He has also produced several yoga practice and music CDs
