FASCIA has become the latest trend in yoga and bodywork. Practitioners and experts from all fields of movement are discussing and researching it, and it's revolutionising our understanding of how the body moves.
We are beginning to throw away the old paradigms and move towards a new fluid approach to movement practice.
If you would like to find out more about this magical, almost liquid connective tissue, and its impact on our yoga practice, join Catherine for this practical workshop to:

  • Learn more what fascia is and how it affects us in Yoga
  • Develop approaches to unwind the fascial web in a variety of yoga poses
  • Release habitual holding patterns and area of restriction
  • Understanding the importance of fascia to our structural stability
  • Cultivate a fresh approach to yoga that will return you to free, easy movements.

Catherine Annis is well known for her imaginative and practical approach to yoga. She is a member of the Triyoga Teacher Training faculty, and will be  launching  Intelligent Yoga Teacher Training, a training programme with Peter Blackaby and Gary Carter in 2018.

Originally a professional dancer, Catherine has discovered yoga as a teenager, and has been practicing for more than 35 years. Having explored Sivananda, Iygengar, Ashtanga and various forms of Hatha Yoga, she eventually gravitated to the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli.
Catherine's practice and teaching focuses on deepening phsical awareness and alignment to reveal the natural freedom of the body, particularly the spine
