This day is open to all who are interested in the field of anatomy however please it is less active but more discussion based
Gary will explain the structure, layout and shape of the human anatomy and physiology & how this structure layout and shape informs how forces run through the body in circular and spiralic patterns. Students will be taken through various postures and movements to illustrate these principles. He will give an in-depth explanation anatomical imbalances such as scoliosis and scoliotic patterns as well as looking at how simple injuries are set up within the body as a result of these imbalances
Gary will describe strategies for teachers to adopt to enable their students to generate the conditions for greater freedom through the body and economy of movement within it
Influenced deeply by the work of Vanda Scaravelli, Gary Carter brings over 25 years of experience of movement physical training, anatomical study and bodywork practices. Much respected in the field of anatomy, Gary is committed to teach, train and encourage kinaesthetic awareness, ease of movement and efficient body use.
