1. Give participants a theoretical
and practical understanding of Pranayama as a logical and sequential process
moving through the first two phases of practice: Foundations and Developmental.
2. Give participants an understanding of the relationship between these two
phases and the reasons underpinning their progression
Objectives
1. Participants will be able to identify the distinctive practices of each phase
2. Participants will feel the effects of certain practices from each phase and be able to identify their strengths and/or weaknesses concerning each phase in terms of breath control and retention
Aims
of the Afternoon
1. Give participants a theoretical
and practical understanding of Pranayama as a logical and sequential process
moving through the final three phases of practice: Alignment, Purification and
Classical.
2. Give participants an understanding of the relationship between all five
phases and the reasons underpinning their progression.
Objectives
1. Participants will be able to
identify the distinctive practices of each phase.
2. Participants will feel the effects of certain practices from each phase and
be able to identify their strengths and/or weaknesses concerning each phase.
