Ancient Spiritual or Modern Secular A Survey of Yoga's Ongoing Journey £55.00
This week-end seminar will examine various aspects of yoga with an acknowledged and experienced guide known for his ability to render complex subjects in a lively and engaging way. The seminar will fall into two halves. One will be an in-depth exploration of various key, and often misunderstood, concepts presented in Patanjali's classic text, the Yoga Sutra. Complementing this textual work will be an account of the variegated history of modern postural practice, including a look at what happens when an ancient spiritual praxis is uprooted and transplanted into a modern secular context.
