Have you ever wondered why after one yoga session you feel like you
could run a marathon, whereas after another you might want to go
straight to bed?   That will depend on whether the yoga practice has
been designed to awaken or restore your body and mind.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to adapt your yoga practice
depending on what effect you’re looking for. I will explain how to choose postures
and breathing techniques.  We will also explore how shifting our focus to different aspects can lead to different results.

This will be an interactive, experiential workshop where we will explore
yoga teachings and apply them through movement and breathwork.  To participate you, don’t need previous experience of yoga and the workshop will be accessible to anyone who doesn’t have any restriction in their day to day movements.

Session schedule:

10 minutes - Introduction of Ideas
40 minutes - Practice
5 minutes - Break
10 minutes - Discussion and Feedback
40 minutes - Practice
10 minutes - Discussion and Feedback
5 minutes - Summary

About Beth Cox

I started teaching viniyoga in 2011. When planning and teaching I adapt yoga to meet an individual's needs, making yoga accessible to all types of people, regardless of age, experience, health or circumstance. My objective in teaching yoga is to help you gain improvements in health, mobility, fitness and clarity of the mind through practicing yoga. I specialise in teaching individual yoga lessons to students for recovery, support and development. In these lessons I tailor a yoga practice specifically for your needs, whether it is for therapy or personal development. You will be supported with practicing this at home on your own and you will be offered opportunities to develop your own practice as your needs change. I also run small group classes over a course of a few weeks in Swansea.
