Hip and Pelvis Workshop

Central to all balanced body function and movement are the pelvis and hip. This day-long workshop will exam the anatomical structures of this region. We will be reviewing the musculoskeletal structure and function, the relationship to body movement and stability. We will look at the visceral organs and their relationship with the region and throughout the body. Issues of strength, flexibility, posture and balance will be covered as well as the potential health problems that could be found.

The workshop will use slides, models and physical activities to help with the learning outcomes.

This workshop is intended as a CPD day for yoga teachers and student teachers.
Experienced students are also welcome if there are sufficient spaces available.
