About the Day
The aims of this IST include:
1. To discuss the yogic concept of mind and to relate this to the set texts used during BWY Diploma studies.
2. To encourage attendees to discuss meditation techniques they might have come across in the past.
3. To define and develop participant practice in meditation – both moving and in sitting – including mantra practice.
4. To encourage participants to reconnect to the set texts from their BWY Diploma studies.
About the tutor
Carolyn Clarke has been studying and teaching yoga for over 35 years and is a DCT in Nottinghamshire. She runs The Jasmine Trust – a BWY Approved Centre.
Interested in all aspects of yoga, practical and theoretical, Carolyn is always trying to develop and
refine her practice and understanding of that practice. As Carolyn matures, her journey is to let yoga help her to live life with ease and strength and assist her in refining her relationship with ‘self’ and the ever changing roles she has created for ‘her’ self. Meditation and pranayama are a great part of that exploration.
Early bird discount is available provided you book and pay by Saturday, 17 March 2018.
