Time: 10:00 - 16:00
Sarah O’Connor is a Senior Yoga teacher and Director of Mind flow yoga Training School offering Foundation Courses, 500 hour training, and postgraduate courses in Pranayama & Mantra and Philosophy. Sarah’s IST days are renowned for their content and humour.
Her expertise comes from over 25 years of experience in the fields of yoga and energy body practices. Influences have come from Ancient Tibetan and yoga lineages, interweaved with Modern understanding of physical and mental energy through neuroscience and quantum physics.
Sarah’s work skillfullyguides students into a direct experience of body-mind and yogic practices, from a place of inner discernment, taking the yoga practice (and the stretch!) deeper creating a stronger experience of the mind-body connection.
Her teaching guides students through Tibetan and Indian practices to cleanse mind and body of negative stored energies, using asana, Tsa Lung, kriya, pranayama, mantra, and meditation. Leaving you in the stillness, silence and spaciousness of pure awareness.
It is Sarah’s direct personal experiences of daily practice from which she coined the term, "energetic keys”. Yoga practice is a series of energetic mind body interactions which can form "energetic keys”. These keys are experiences that open us up to better yoga practice and to clearer physical and mental conditioning, leading to fearless and ego-less teaching.
Sarah runs a teacher training school and weekly mainstream classes that integrate her teaching into a simple Yoga methodology that brings together the 8 limbs and energetic practices.
The day will cover all aspects of yoga and philosophy of Vayus, the energetic regions of the body, and application in teaching.
